Two Stories to Write

Sister and family have settled in. They decided to go out for a walk around the neighborhood. Since I'm recovering from some back issues I'm staying behind to work on a young adult story. Not quite sure if it's going to be a movie script, comic script or prose, but I've started watching Harry Potter and some other teen, young adult movies to get a handle on the basic structure. I've been fiddling around with two big stories at present...a young adult adventure and a big, epic and dark Sci-Fi.

I've been wanting to write them for quite some time and I have the basic ideas in my head. Usually, I'm a very swift writer, but inspiration has been lacking over the last 2 years. It's not so much that I have writer's block, but rather I've been allowing myself to hold a very negative view on things. I've decided that pessimism and cynicism are worse on careers than anything the outer world can do. So, there's nothing to do, but change.
